The News at NESM:

Chaplain Steve with Mosese
The VERY BUSY Fall Cruise Season is upon us.

September and October bring us the bulk of our cruise ships to Boston. But if you check our calendars, you will see we need lots of help to meet the needs of the seafarers. To assist in finding volunteers, we have listed how many people we need for each day. Now, you don't need to put together a church group for our weekday ships. Do you have a day off, or a personal day coming to you? Does your employer offer time off for Community Service? Maybe you are retired or work weekends and have a day off during the week. If you would like to be involved with our global missions outreach for a day, check our calender page for dates and time and find a day that fits your schedule. Then fill out our online form and reserve your individual time slot. You will bless the lives of these hard-working men and women with your helping hands.

2011 Cruise Ship Ministry Volunteer Sign-ups

The 2011 Fall Cruise Ministry season is underway with ships arriving throughout the work week and continuing through October. Check our calender page for dates and time. The dates really do go fast, so don't wait.

Donations be made to the New England Seafarers Mission.

MANY, MANY THANKS FOR ALL THE GIFTS YOU SENT TO THE SEAFARERS THROUGH YOUR CHURCH OUTREACH COMMITTEES!! THE SEAFARERS ALL RESPONDED WITH SO MUCH JOY AND HAPPINESS AT BEING REMEMBERED. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

"May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make his face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give peace."

WHAT CAN WE DO?.

1.Discuss with your: Pastor, Missions Chairperson, Youth Group or Small Group about serving.

2. Go to www.neseafarers.org and click on the 2010 (COMING SOON!) calendar page for open dates and what to expect.

3. Don't go for a unanimous consensus date. That won't ever happen. PICK A DATE and fill out the on-line sign up form at our web site.

4. Put out a sign-up sheet. Make calls, Encourage one another to good works!

5. Ask for prayer from your sending church the week(s) before. VERY IMPORTANT!

6. Come In. NEED A RIDE? Don't stay away because of driving into Boston. Call us, maybe we can give you a lift. Really..
